This story shows trees that represent Love, Happiness, Courage, Peace, Tolerance, Hope, Compassion,
Afterwords you will be creating a "Poet Tree" with words and pictures
to make a collage illustration of any tree in the story.
Why not go outside and sit under a favorite tree to READ and relax.

-Facetime, Skype, or Google Hangout a friend, or relative and read a book out loud together.
-Record yourself reading in your best character voices or make a video of yourself reading aloud, grab your Mom or Dad,
brother, sister, cat or dog to be your audience.
NO "SCREEN" REQUIRED FUN IDEAS!
-Write a Poem on your sidewalk or driveway with chalk
-Choose a favorite book or book you just read and turn it into a comic strip or a graphic novel.
-Be sure to include speech bubbles, thought balloons, and bursts for sound effects.
