Mrs. Spence - Guidance
Welcome parents and students! My name is Mrs. Spence and this is my 10th year as school counselor at Luther Lee Emerson and County Road Schools. I couldn't be happier to work in such a great school environment with motivated students, teachers and parents. I welcome you to contact me anytime if you have any concerns about your child regarding their academics, emotions, social skills or behaviors. I look forward to working with the many great families of Demarest, as well as meeting new families in the community!
In 2010, I graduated from Moravian College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I then earned my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Centenary College. Throughout my studies and experiences, I have learned many different techniques on how to counsel elementary age students as well as becoming a positive support and resource the school community can depend on.
I look forward to helping each student meet their personal goals and identify and understand their feelings to maximize their full potential for academic achievement.
The partnership I intend to form with the educators, administrators and community will help build a strong support team that will uphold each student to become a well-rounded, lifelong, learner.
