My teaching career began around the corner at the Demarest Middle School in 2002. I spent 16 years there teaching mathematics to grades 5-8. While teaching at DMS, I was able to go back to school to obtain a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. Once my graduate work was complete, my husband and I welcomed our two baby boys into the world. Matthew and Jason immediately became the loves of my life and to this day not only keep us busy with their sports and activities but also keep us on our toes. In my free time, I enjoy watching, coaching and playing sports. I also love traveling with my family to ANYWHERE that there is a beach! This year, I consider myself lucky to be the 4th grade math teacher. I am VERY excited to have my own classroom and to be able to work with all the students in the subject that I am most passionate about. I absolutely love the environment at LLE and am looking forward to this school year with my students, their parents and my colleagues.
