This quote is a perfect example of how all students learn differently, and they all have the capability to learn. Some children require different teaching strategies to become successful learners in school. In some cases children need more individualized instruction to fit their learning needs in order for them to succeed. The special education program will develop an individualized education plan in which we will give the student a goal to be an outstanding learner. Children who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), are eligible for special services.
The Special Education teachers at CRS try to help make each one of their students successful learners. We work closely with the classroom teachers, child study team, and administration to make sure their needs are being met through the provided services. As a Special Education team, we meet daily to think of new ideas and ways to effectively teach all of the students at CRS. I am so honored to be a part of a team of such smart, caring, and creative individuals!
