    Hello!

    My name is Reena Patel and I am the School Psychologist  for the County Road School and Luther Lee School! I am a new member of the Child Study Team and I am so excited to be part of the Demarest family! I will be case managing, administering Psycho-Educational and Social-Emotional assessments and facilitating school-based counseling! This is a very exciting year for me, personally, since this is my first year as a School Psychologist! I am honored and thrilled to start my professional career at Demarest and to jump into the 2022-2023 school year!

     

    A little bit about me….

    I have received my Masters in School Psychology as well as my Education Specialist degree from Rowan University’s Graduate Program. I also attended Rowan University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I had the opportunity to work as the Residential Director for Rowan’s University Housing office. This position granted me the knowledge and skills necessary when working as a School Psychologist and Child Study Team member. I learned the importance of advocacy, empathy and support. Last year, I completed my internship working in the Verona School District. My experience granted me the opportunity to work with Pre-K, K-8th grade, as well as Early Intervention Services.
