Demarest Middle School

Hello!  My name is Audrey Moran, and I super excited to be one of Demarest Middle School’s Health and Physical Education teachers. This will be my fifth full year teaching Health and Physical Education, having previously taught in the Waldwick School District at both the middle school and high school.I grew up in River Vale, New Jersey with my parents and two older brothers.  I attended Bloomsburg University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.  I then went on to earn my Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Manhattanville College.  Health, fitness, and physical education are my passion, and I am really looking forward to sharing that passion with all of you!My favorite sport is gymnastics.  I was a competitive gymnast for 10 years and trained at Paragon Gymnastics in Norwood, NJ.  I have been coaching gymnastics for the past 9 years, and I absolutely love it!  My other favorite sport to play and coach/teach is volleyball.  I love to stay active by playing sports, hiking, weightlifting, trying new fitness classes, and by walking my dog, Shaggy.

I am looking forward to building a strong rapport within the Demarest community while creating an enjoyable and safe environment for all to excel and learn!
